INGREDIENTS:

Dry ingredients- maida 1/2cup
                              baking pwd 1/2tsp
                              baking soda 1/6tsp
                              salt a pinch
                              cocoa pwd 4/3tbsp
                              powdered sugar 1/4cup
wet ingredients- curd 1/6 cup
                               neutral oil 1/12 cup
                               condensed milk 1/9cup
                               lukewarm milk 1/4cup
                               vinegar 1/3 tsp
                               vanilla essence 1/3 tsp

In this video, 100g of compound chocolate has been taken but for this cake you have to take 250g of compound chocolate and 250g of cream(either low fat or heavy cream, and one of the two can be used)

*chilled light sugar syrup(just mix 1/4 cup water + 2 tbsp brown sugar)

*Gems 5 to 6 mahapacks
*kitkat 14 fingers
*plastic straw, toothpicks,tissue paper

DIRECTIONS:
-Sift all dry ingredients except sugar,keep aside
-Mix lukewarm milk with vinegar & keep aside
-Whisk together oil,sugar,curd,condensed milk together for 5 minutes
-Add sifted wet ingredients alongwith milk-vinegar mix in batches of 3 & mix using cut and fold method lightly
-Bake in a greased and lined container in preheated oven at 160°C for 30 minutes or till the toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
-Let the baked sponge stay in oven for 20 minutes, then demould it and let it cool down to room temperature on a wired rack.
-Cover it well with a cling wrap and refrigerate it overnight before frosting the cake.
-Cut the sponge in 3 layers horizontally using a serrated knife, removing a thin top layer.
-Apply chilled light sugar syrup first to help it moisten the sponge and over it apply a generous amount of ganache on all the 3 layers as shown in the video.
-Smoothen the top using icing smoother. This makes the crumb coated cake which arrests the crumbs of the cake for a final smooth coating. Refrigerate the cake for atleast 30 minutes before final coating.
-Finally, arrange the gems and kitkat as shown in the video.
-Use toothpick, plastic straw and an empty gems pack(filled with tissues) to create an anti gravity look as shown in the video.
-Use molten ganache to stick gems etc wherever required. Just melt the ganache in microwave for 15 seconds or over a double boiler.
